I just got my car back from your tow yard and some of my things are missing. What could have caused this?
The office staff takes pictures of vehicles. If a vehicle is impounded for arrest, the Police department will log all visible valuable items. In addition, some items are retained by police. If the vehicle is a repossession, we have to remove personal items and store them for 45 days. Two individuals complete this process. Prior to removing possessions, photos are taken and uploaded to the bank within 24 business hours of the unit being secured.

What happens after my car has been in your lot for over 40 days?

We keep them for 45 days then items that Goodwill will accept we donate the rest is thrown in the trash.
I was in an accident and the police had my car towed. How do I get it back?
Contact the office between 9 AM to 5 PM, Mon - Fri except holidays to make arrangements to pick up personal items. You will have to come into the office and sign an ADOT form or your insurance has to send us a completed ADOT form or the vehicle can not be released. This is a State Requirement, with no exceptions.
